I experimented with it for a while but like you Gogs I did not get on with it. There is useful info on there sometimes, but mostly it's people blogging. The style is very unreadable, with users just putting down a stream of consciousness with solid blocks of text, no structure, no use of sentences, paragraphs or punctuation to separate ideas and therefore it is very difficult to work out what point the writer is trying to make / question they are trying to pose.
I posted a suggestion that paragraphs instead of solid block of text would help us answer, and unwittingly offended some of the long term members. I tried to apologise but some people weren't having it and flamed me. So I deleted my account and concentrated my efforts here instead.
Up till recently HU posts were not categorised which meant that rants, questions and blogs were all jumbled up together, and the level of traffic quickly pushes posts off the visible page. NRAS have just added some categories and will doubtless add some more, to make it easier for users to find content.
The HU page style is very different to this forum simply because the software is more modern. That said, I find it easier to find content here than on HU. Maybe it's an age thing. Older software for an older person?
