Does anyone know anything about this site?

I joined it yesterday but am having difficulty understanding it. To me it seems to talk about anything but health,
and mostly young people 'blogging'

This morning I had an email full of Christmas greetings. I probably don't understand what it's about - can you help me?

I experimented with it for a while but like you Gogs I did not get on with it. There is useful info on there sometimes, but mostly it's people blogging. The style is very unreadable, with users just putting down a stream of consciousness with solid blocks of text, no structure, no use of sentences, paragraphs or punctuation to separate ideas and therefore it is very difficult to work out what point the writer is trying to make / question they are trying to pose.

I posted a suggestion that paragraphs instead of solid block of text would help us answer, and unwittingly offended some of the long term members. I tried to apologise but some people weren't having it and flamed me. So I deleted my account and concentrated my efforts here instead.

Up till recently HU posts were not categorised which meant that rants, questions and blogs were all jumbled up together, and the level of traffic quickly pushes posts off the visible page. NRAS have just added some categories and will doubtless add some more, to make it easier for users to find content.

The HU page style is very different to this forum simply because the software is more modern. That said, I find it easier to find content here than on HU. Maybe it's an age thing. Older software for an older person? BigGrin

Hexham - Northumberland - Loads of spectacular walks - all I need now are the joints to go with them! :)

I've never joined we've discussed it in here before

I prefer the privacy and intimacy on this forum although sadly we are a sinking ship which I don't know if it has anything to do with HU,

I will stick with this one although don't post so often

I don`t post on it either, but I suspect people go there as it doesn`t have any membership costs - I`m not sure, but in any case I don`t fancy it.
